Welcome to OSCAR Pet Foods Carlisle.  I’m Stuart Edgar, and many of you will know me, my partner, Jane, and our adorable black Labrador, Sansa!

OSCAR Pet Foods are a national brand, serving your local community with hassle-free delivery of quality pet supplies (including dog food, cat food and pet accessories) straight to your door.  It offers you the convenience of staying at home – by bringing pet care supplies straight to your door with free nutritional expertise and behavioural advice – or, alternatively, the flexibility of hassle-free delivery whilst you are out.

I’m Carlisle born and bred and have worked in Carlisle and the surrounding area for the past 35 years, moving to Wetheral eight years ago. It’s a community I have grown to love, and I can’t wait to serve local pet-owning families with a quality pet care service they can depend upon.  As I continue to grow my business, Jane gives me valuable support at home and I’m certain Sansa will try her best to ‘quality check’ every delicious flavour of dog food, every tasty treat and every exciting toy! Blessed with a character to match her namesake, from Game of Thrones, we’re hoping her discerning attitude, yet loyal and family-loving personality, will come in handy!

In fact, Sansa was instrumental in helping us choose OSCAR. We wouldn’t have called her a fussy eater, but she certainly wasn’t ‘Labrador’ when it came to mealtimes. That was … until we popped a sample of OSCAR Lamb and Rice in front of her. Now, she doesn’t get her head out of the bowl until she’s finished – and that’s the honest truth.  Whilst my thirty-year background in sales taught me the importance of recognizing a quality product, finding a work life balance to help me connect and support my local community was going to need more than Sansa’s nose!

Choosing OSCAR turned out to be easy because I was struck by the company’s honesty. From my very first enquiry I received nothing but truthful and sincere support from its amazing head office team, which meant I immediately knew it was a brand I could get behind and feel comfortable with.  Now, instead of meeting somebody else’s targets, I am looking forward to embracing a new sense of personal responsibility that focuses on customer convenience and satisfaction. Hopefully, my hobbies of coarse fishing and cycling will help me to appreciate the combination of patience and endurance that good customer relationships depend upon.
